Are you ready to rumble?

The Mods and Rockers: two conflicting youth groups outraged a moral panic in the 1960s in seaside resorts. The Mods adopted a sophisticated fashion sense which tailored suits, turtlenecks and cashmere jumpers.











They also fixated on patterns and bright aesthetics, attaining some of their fashion inspiration from the teddy boys of 1950s- their preferred transportation were scooters. The Rockers on the other hand were all about motorcycles, leather jackets and enjoying rock and roll music. The two new youth subcultures to emerge in the late 1960s.
