This inverted tattoo sports the symbol for Tetsuo, The Iron Man. The movie, Tetsuo, The Iron Man is “Widely accepted as one of the most groundbreaking and seminal cyberpunk movies ever to have been produced in Japan.” The move has quite a cult following and has been praised on many levels. This tattoo is in honor of this movie, and in doing so, gives us a great example of an inverted tattoo, where a main part or section of the tattoo is left blank and allows the surrounding ink to shape it. The black line patterns are really nice, and the small flowers add a nice touch. I would have thought there would have been some metal in there somewhere, but it is still a great tattoo!
