The term “Tribal” used to be more specific to indigenous tattoos, where there where symbols and meaning to the tattoos as well as meaning to where they were placed on the body, as well. In more modern times, ‘tribal’ really just refers to designs that are mostly just black work. This is a nice variation on the theme. An open scroll-work pattern with zig-zags and ring patterns makes for an nicely different and interesting look for this half sleeve tattoo. The under pattern is intricate and really livens up the overall design.
